Briar Johnston

Briar knew event planning was where her energy belonged at an early age. After completing the Event Management Program at Ryerson University, she came back to Vancouver to obtain her Bachelor of Commerce and hit the ground running. Over fifteen years later and her enthusiasm is still the same!

After working for a prestigious hotel in Vancouver, Briar knew her passion to the industry would be better utilized running her own company and working with clients who share the same values and guest experience expectations.

Briar's passion for each event is evident in her daily work. She understands that her role is to make life-long memories and exceed client and guest expectations.

Dallas Halldorson

Dallas has always had a passion for event planning. Her love for organization and attention to detail has helped turn her passion into her career. After finishing her Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Victoria she began volunteering with non-profit international organizations assisting in the planning of their events as well as in corporate events.

Dallas prides herself in creating memorable experiences for her clients and guests. She loves to bring a client’s vision to life while seamlessly organizing every detail. When she is not busy planning events, you may find her exploring Beautiful BC and hiking the North Shore Mountains.

Laura Lilley

Laura got her start in the event industry in 2009 helping produce media events throughout Vancouver. She had a natural talent for events and her enthusiasm grew with each event she worked on. After she graduated Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors Degree in Communications she pursued event planning full time, planning weddings and corporate events throughout the Lower Mainland.

Laura enjoys sweating the small stuff so you don’t have to. From the creation to the execution of an event, Laura is devoted to every aspect of the process. She has a keen eye for design and a desire to create an unforgettable experience for her clients and guests. Her goal is to put her client’s at ease and let them enjoy their event knowing Laura has everything in control.

Joey Greene

Joey was hired by Epic Events upon graduation from the Event Management program at The Art Institute of Vancouver after an outstanding year as an Event Assistant. He quickly moved up the ranks and is now the hardest working Event Planner we know!

Joey was the Senior Event Manager at one of the most prestigious catering companies in Vancouver. There he gained invaluable experience and a broad skill set to bring to the logistics side of planning. With a natural ability to manage and execute amazing events, we are so glad to still call him ours!

Jennifer Ungaro

"Jenn did a phenomenal job helping us execute our fusion Indian/Western wedding as our coordinator. There were a lot of layers going on with the fusion of two different cultures, and Jenn made sure it all happened beautifully and smoothly and with a fun, confident vibe that made me excited and relaxed about everything from the moment I met her. Jenn helped us get the day organized by putting together the perfect timeline for our ideas, took care of communicating with our vendors and venue to take the stress out of all of that off of us, and even helped us navigate some family dynamics to keep everyone happy. Jenn was quick to respond to my questions and to quell any anxieties that came up for me, and to give me her insight anytime I was having trouble making decisions about details. The day of, Jenn made herself available to us from morning until night, making sure everyone knew what was going on what they were supposed to do every moment, and that everything was getting set up the way I wanted at the venue. She even saved me from a self-imposed wedding dress fiasco when I demanded a bridesmaid cut the crinoline out of my dress and then immediately regretted it - Jenn just calmly said "no prob, we'll put it back" and remedied it with tools from her emergency kit without for one second making me feel like I was being a bit crazy (which I was! ha!). As with any big event, there were some last minute challenges that came up and Jenn and Joey handled them with stealth and calmness to keep everything smooth and seemingly flawless. There is NO WAY our day would have gone as smoothly without Jenn, or that I would have been as relaxed in the weeks leading up to the wedding as I was with her help. After all the planning, we truly got to just turn our brains off and enjoy the day and all the amazing, special, once-in-a-lifetime moments without worrying about the logistics of anything, knowing everything was being handled by Jenn and Joey.
