The Brunch Series : Chapter One

We are so excited to introduce the launch of a new project we have been working on!

The Brunch Series!

We have always worked so hard and producing amazing content for our blog and instagram in the form of Styled Shoots. These are done often in our industry as a was for vendors and suppliers to flex their creative muscles and work together to make magic happen! The problem though, is that we take the photos and everyone leaves. So we decided to change things up and start doing what we are good at - celebrating! We have started coordinating catering as a way to make sure that our industry gets that chance to have a great meal and authentic small group conversation.

This is something we hope to continue on a regular basis! Stay tuned for more amazing images and industry contributions!

We were so lucky to have a phenomenal first event. We partnered with the ShangriLa Vancouver and dine in their Alberni Room. The room is flooded with natural light, beautiful wood tables and neutral, modern chairs. The perfect backdrop! Celsia Floral captured the inspiration board perfectly and brought spring inside with bold and beautiful florals! Pedersens Rentals supplied the amazing gold accented cutlery, plates and my favourite glassware in the city! I seriously need these! Christine Pienaar captured the day beautifully and shared all fo these amazing images with us.

If you are a Vancouver vendor who would like to participate, either as a vendor or a guest, please send me note and I will get you our sign up list!

Check out the images below to see our delightful afternoon!

K&T's UBC Boathouse Wedding

All photos by Christine Pienaar Photography

We loved being a part of Tyler and Kelsies beautiful wedding at UBC Boathouse. Kelsie is an artist and her taste was impeccable. She incorporated some of her own art into the day with a number of elements - but my favourite was the custom table runner that she used on the long dining tables. It added the more personal and authentic touch to an already beautiful space.

Our girl Christine Pienaar was on hand to capture this beautiful day! She even went so far to put together an adorable, moving video of their day.

Thanks Kelsie and Tyler for having us on board for your wedding! It was so fun to be a part of your creative process!

Kaitlyn and Tom - Union Wood Co. Wedding

This wedding was adorable. All the little details. The meaningful touches. The intimate size. All of it.

Laura was the lead planner on this wedding at Union Wood Co. She worked with Kaitlyn and Tom to bring this beautiful day to life. Even through the rain, Kaitlyn and Tom could not. stop. smiling. Their joy and love is evident!

These images were perfectly captured by The Godards (formerly Danaea Li Photography)! They have just launched their new company and it is worth a visit to their new website! It’s gorgeous!

S&R - Whimsical Boho Chic Backyard Wedding

I could not love these two, or their love, any more. I’ve known and loved Saschie for years (like…15 years?!?) and have had the privilege of watching her grow into the most amazing woman of purpose, strength and intention. When she and Roman got engaged, and they asked me to come on board, I could not have been more flattered or excited! Saschie had talked about this family friends property being her wedding venue for the past 10 years and when she said that’s where it was actually going to happen I was over the moon. I knew this place held a special place in her heart.

They wanted to craft a day that would surprise and delight their guests. EVERYTHING they had at their wedding was for a purpose. They started the night with a loungy, interactive cocktail hour complete with a flambe station, taco bar, beautiful big bar, Collective You portrait booth, and little lounge sets across the lawn. The best part about this was that they were there to greet their guests upon arrival and join in the festivities. Then, we moved guests to the custom crafted (haha you should have seen my drawings and math equations!!) open air tent that her dad constructed. Guests ate an incredible family-style meal (thanks to White Table Catering!) as the sun set. The speeches were everything. Heartfelt, considerate, kind, memorable and emotional. Then, while S&R took a moment to gather themselves inside, their guests moved over to their fairy light ceremony nook. All of the images that Saschie and I had gone through during the planning had these images in them and I was SO happy that she had this magical ceiling to get married under.

And then the party. P.A.R.T.Y. These two are the owners of the Beyonce-Style dance workshops, RSVP33, and met at a dance class years ago. So needless to say their friends can DANCE. The dance floor was full. with incredible dancers!

Saschie and Roman - thank you for allow us to be a part of your wedding day. It was magical and everything I wanted for you.

We were so happy to see the beautiful wedding in print in the latest Weddingbells Magazine!

Lexi and Scott - Vancouver Convention Centre Wedding

Getting these two married was so much fun. I have known Lexi since she was 11 years old and sending her down the aisle to her true love put tears in my eyes! They were so relaxed with the whole planning and really sat back and allowed me to guide them through the process. The Vancouver Convention Centre (one of my favourite wedding venues!!) was the perfect backdrop for both their ceremony and reception.
